About Dr. Salyer
Dr. Salyer is an Indianapolis local, having grown up in the area and attended Bishop Chatard High School, before going on to receive a BSc in Biology from Indiana University with minors in Chemistry and Studio Art.
She then attended Indiana University School of Medicine for her medical degree. After graduation, she moved to Cincinnati, OH and completed a 7 year residency in General Surgery. She then returned to Indiana University for her fellowship in Trauma and Surgical Critical Care. Dr. Salyer is board certified by the American College of Surgeons in General Surgery, and is a member of the Society of Critical Care Medicine.
Dr. Salyer and her husband, Steven, have one daughter. They enjoy biking, gardening, and walking their blue heeler, Stella.
