About Dr. Douglas Kaderabek
Douglas J. Kaderabek, MD, is a board-certified surgeon and has been a member of the team at Naab Road Surgical Group in Indianapolis since 1991. Dr. Kaderabek attended Indiana University, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in biology. A former Eagle Scout, he then spent three years as district executive of the Hoosier Trails Council of the Boy Scouts of America. Dr. Kaderabek returned to Indiana University, earning his medical degree in 1986, before moving to Detroit to complete a residency at Wayne State University Affiliated Hospitals.
Dr. Kaderabek is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and is a member of the American Hernia Society. His current interests include hernia repair, gastrointestinal surgery, and minimally invasive surgery - including laparoscopy and robotics. He is a faculty member of the the St. Vincent Surgical Residency program and is involved in training young surgeons. He is a volunteer faculty member of the Indiana University School of Medicine and Marion University's D.O. program. He also works with medical students that rotate on General Surgery at St. Vincent's.
