About Dr. Ian Ferries
Ian Ferries, MD, is a board-certified surgeon on the team at Naab Road Surgical Group in Indianapolis.
An Indiana native, Dr. Ferries was born and raised in Kokomo. He graduated from Butler University in Indianapolis with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology, and went on to earn a Master of Science degree in biology from Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis.
Dr. Ferries then earned his medical degree and completed his general surgery residency at Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis. He finished his medical training at the University of Cincinnati in Cincinnati, where he completed a fellowship in trauma surgical and critical care.
Dr. Ferries is board-certified in general surgery and surgical critical care by the American College of Surgeons. He’s a member of the American Medical Association, the American College of Surgeons, the Society of Critical Care Medicine, and the Eastern Association for the Surgery of Trauma.
Outside of work, Dr. Ferries likes to golf, sail, watch sports, and spend time with his wife, Kaitlin, and their two children.
He looks forward to serving the community of Indianapolis with his critical care training and passion for complex and critically ill trauma and surgical patients.
